The Dangers of Release / Waiver Forms & Terms !

Executing release waivers as presented without inserting exceptions to reserve your contract rights and rights to Claim, will eventually prove costly.  Contractors need to carefully consider the release / waiver forms received for payments, and the release terms of Change Modifications BEFORE they sign on the dotted line. Release / Waivers are administrative “Hazardous Materials”, and must be handled with care.

Plan & Prepare for a Bad Project!

Every project has the potential to prove damaging to one or more of the contractors involved. Projects go bad in a number of ways and always incrementally over time.  Failing to prepare from the start, and failing to see the early signs of failure will likely result in a too little, too late response. To protect themselves, Contractors need to be prepared before they start, and the best way to do that is to always "Start every project as if preparing to file a claim."  Read how to do it . . .
